 The Network Delivery & Operations team is at the cutting edge of network health, adapting & evolving to changes with new technologies, and providing our customers the very best experience.

 You could be a part of our Delivery team, helping to lead the engineering and delivery of voice & data services. You’ll also come up with new Network solutions and commercial products like TV, to fulfil the needs of over 140 million customers using our Mobile, Fixed, TV and International Connectivity Services. We ensure our customers not only enjoy the best network performance possible, but are also able to utilise the latest technology right here and now.

 Working in the Operations team, you’ll be our eyes, constantly monitoring the entire network, from mobile to fixed, TV, and even the thousands of miles of deep sea cable, to detect any issues and solve it before it impacts our customers. As well as ensuring that all changes to the network are done with minimal disruptions.

Network Engineers

Our network engineers are the technical experts who have the responsibility to plan, design, test and operate the Vodafone fixed and mobile networks. They are experts in their specific domains, such as radio, fiber and cable access networks, backhauling and transport, core and services: they work closely with the main technology vendors to identify the best technical solutions for our networks, and they are asked to plan its technological evolution over the following years. They have also the task to monitor the end-to-end performance of our networks, with a specific focus on the quality of the services experienced by all our customers. 

Assurance Engineers

Our highly skilled assurance engineers that the services offered on our network meet the service quality we have promised and that our customers expect. This includes fault management, performance management, probe monitoring network traffic management, network & service testing along with a host of other activities to ensure the best in class service. They work closely with both the Network Engineers as well as the Designers to assure a superlative customer experience.

Designers and Specialists

Our designers and specialists provide technical expertise across our wide range of complex technologies to work on the high level design & low level design of various solutions. They work closely with the system architects as well as external suppliers and vendors subsequently adapting solutions that best suit our networks.

Video or Phone Interview

Before we invite successful applicants in, we like to have a friendly chat. If you’re deemed a suitable match for the role you’ve applied for, we will arrange to speak to you. This could either be simply over the phone, or via a video interview, depending on which role you’re after.

At this stage in your job application we want to see how you might fit into the team, and most importantly, get to know you a little better. We also use this as an opportunity to consider how we can help develop your future, because your career develop is, and always will be, important to us. 

Face-to-Face Interview

The next step is meeting in person, face-to-face. Our interviews vary depending on the role you’re applying for, you could simply be invited for a standard face-to-face interview, or you might be asked to attend an assessment centre. Yup, you might have to do a presentation or a few tests related to your role.

But don’t fret, it’s just how we make sure you’re the perfect fit and it also gives you the chance to ask any questions and get to know us. At Vodafone, we’re just as invested in your future as you are in ours. It’s a two-way street you know. 

The Offer

It’s crunch time, if you’ve nailed the application, phone call and interview and we deem you suitable for the role, we’ll make you an enticing offer. If you weren’t successful, we’ll provide some handy feedback to help you out in future applications.
