Starting a new job can be a nerve-wracking experience, but we are confident that your journey into Vodafone will be a great one, every step of the way. You’ve done the hard part and aced the interview so now it is time to get ready to join us and we are excited to have you on board...
Our Onboarding team have provided the tips below to help you get prepared ahead of your first day:
Now that you have accepted our offer, the process begins. You’ll be added into the Digital Onboarding Platform that will support you throughout the process. You can choose to be contacted via text or email, where you will receive videos, content and information about Vodafone, as well as what to expect when you join. We will keep you up to date with what we have been up to and send links to topics that you are most interested in so you can begin to learn about us and our culture.
Whilst we are working remotely, we will arrange for all your equipment to be couriered to your door to ensure you have everything you need and that you’re all set up for your first day.
Your new manager will reach out to you via text, email or phone prior to your start and your recruiter will be happy to help if you have any questions prior to day one.
Your First Day
The day has arrived - You are an official Vodafone employee!
On day one, you will be contacted by your new Line Manager with the details you need to get you logged on. As soon as your emails are loaded, you will have an email from our UK Training Team providing you with a welcome pack and a link to our UK Onboarding site. This will give you lots of useful content and links to explore whilst you learn the ropes.
We also host a series of Onboarding Webinars across your first 2 weeks, covering everything from wellbeing to reward, to a breakdown of our finances and our diversity and inclusion initiative. You will also join a live Q&A session with one of our Senior Leadership team members so make sure you have any questions prepared!
On top of all this, our fantastic Onboarding team will be on hand to support you through your first few weeks with us and the Digital Onboarding Platform will continue to deliver great content to help you learn about Vodafone, our values as a company and how to make the most of working for us.
There is plenty to dive into at Vodafone such as our fantastic learning hub which will help you develop your existing skills and knowledge. And, whilst recognising our own uniqueness, our amazing people networks, bring everyone together.
