At Vodafone, we want everyone who comes to work with us to feel that they can be true to themselves, and that they belong. Many of our LGBT+ employees have told us they have experienced discrimination, rejection and abuse in their professional as well as their private lives, just because of who they are. Although society is changing for the better, we still have a long way to go. That’s why it’s so important to us that Vodafone offers the kind of environment where our LGBT+ employees feel empowered, listened to, and cared for.
We’re honoured that Stonewall has named us a Top 100 LGBT+ inclusive organisation, and we’re very proud that our LGBT+ Friends Network has been awarded Employee Network of the Year. We’ve been working with colleagues from across the business to ensure that we have a thriving LGBT+ community at Vodafone, and we’d love to share some of their stories with you.
