I was told when I joined Vodafone 16 years ago and I can guarantee this is still our vision and purpose.
In my almost 16 years at Vodafone I have enjoyed a number of different roles within the Enterprise business both in the UK and Vodafone Group. Vodafone has given me the opportunity to understand enterprise customers, what is important for them and how an organisation like Vodafone can really support them grow. I have worked across multinational customers based all around the world, SMEs from the UK market, and since the last two years with UK SOHOs (Small Office, Home Office).
What I love about Vodafone and Enterprise is our commitment to both employees and customers and I have experienced this over my whole working experience at Vodafone. I have seen my colleagues driving to customers to fix important issues and working weekends and evenings to ensure we are meeting customers’ expectations. I have also seen many examples of great partnerships between Vodafone employees and large enterprise customers such the possibility for employees from both organisations to do placements and learn about each other businesses.
I now lead Sales and marketing for Small Businesses in Vodafone UK, and I am responsible for a team of +150 colleagues that speak to small business customers every single day whether it is to fix customers’ issues, upgrade to the latest smartphone or buy a new contract. The marketing team is mainly responsible for creating demand for the sales teams by designing really cool digital adverts that drive our customers to call us or visit our retail stores.
One of the things I am most proud of is having started as a product manager in enterprise many years ago and to have then progressed within the business to lead a sales and marketing segment, it taught me a lot about our company, how much we care about our customers and how hard we work to ensure that we meet customers’ needs. Customer’s NPS has also fundamentally increased in the last year, thanks to the fantastic business propositions that we have for small business customers, called Smart Solutions. As a result of how we serve our small business customers and our proposition portfolio, this year we have won the best SOHO segment across all operating companies from Vodafone.
For me, to have a happy and motivated team is paramount to guarantee the success of Vodafone UK and one of the things I am also really proud of is my team and the fact that they are really committed and motivated to do the best for the customer and for Vodafone.
Personally, Vodafone is playing a very important part in my life and I am very happy to say that Vodafone has been essential in shaping my development and my overall career.
I would not change a single day in Vodafone and the wonderful people that I have met and yes I am Ready!!!
