Working at Vodafone for the last 3 years I’ve been able to be myself; passionate, determined and enthusiastic in the roles I’ve had, and I’ve also been found opportunities to grow and develop new skills.
Vodafone has a culture that encourages every employee to be at their best, but the onus is on each colleague to develop themselves and to seek support and knowledge from others to grow within their role – making every learning opportunity unique.
Working in marketing at Vodafone is fast paced! Everyday there is a new product or message to land with our customers or sales community and it’s this pace that keeps me on my toes! From launching email campaigns to writing pitch decks for multi-million pound deals, I thrive on getting under the skin of our customers challenges, working with our teams on what our solution could be and presenting this story back to our customers in a creative but personalised way. Meeting our customers and hearing about the difference our solutions make to their organisations is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
Throughout my three years at Vodafone I’ve had some great experiences, here are just a few:
• I spent a day in a squad car with one of the largest UK police forces understanding how they use mobile technology to communicate whilst on the beat
• I’ve worked with Virgin Money and Teenage Cancer Trust to develop ways of sharing information digitally about teenage cancer
• I launched a brand new customer experience measurement tool at Vodafone UK; relationship NPS, to 300 strategic Enterprise customers
In early 2018 I’ll be joining our commercial marketing function where I’ll be producing new propositions that will disrupt our marketplace, fulfil the needs of our customers and be simple for our sales people to communicate - I can’t wait!
