About the Opportunity
Drive Go To Market for Vodafone´s Virtualization Strategy E2E for the introduction of Domain and Service Orchestrator, Virtualisation layer, SDN Data Centre Controller, and VFN Applications. Drive Virtualization to mass Market Deployment through the delivery of;
Market Readiness plans, Deployment Standards and Blueprints, Technology Guidance and Strategy KPIs, Roadmap, Vodafone Technology Standards. Drive Market Adoption of Deployment Standards.

What you will do:
Drive Virtualization to mass Market Deployment through the delivery of; Market Readiness plans, Deployment Standards and Blueprints, Technology Guidance and Strategy KPIs, Roadmap, Vodafone Technology Standards for all major Virtualisation elements including Domain and Service Orchestrator, Virtualisation layer, Hypervisor and VIM, SDN Data Centre Controller, and VFN Applications (VNF, EMS, specific VNFM) and SDN Transport Controllers.
You will be responsible for:
Translate E2E Virtualisation Strategy and Architecture components to related Virtualisation Deployment Standards that enable implementation of Vodafone Ocean programme (network transformation to orchestrated NFV and SDN)
Deliver detailed economic assessments, TCO models and business cases as part of network investment plan proposals for new virtualisation elements initiatives deployment.
Drive alignment with markets for market adoption of Vodafone´s Ocean Roadmap, Deployment Standards in accordance to Virtualisation Strategy and KPIs targets.
As a technical expert in Cloud & Virtualisation technologies and SDN/NFV products, you will have:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the field of integrated NW and IT Cloud & Virtualisation technologies (NFV/SDN).
Delivery experience of HLDs and Blueprints, Business cases, TCO models and Standards for new products and technologies.
Technical experience in Core networks and multimedia, all IP services
Proven track record for successful delivery of new technologies and products and the ability to balance and resolve conflicts of interest.
Excellent analytical skills (listening, questioning, challenging etc.)
Excellent communication skills – able to understand and interact in both business and technical languages
