Vodafone UK is looking for an experienced User Research Manager to join our growing Digital Experience team. You’ll be working across a variety of platforms and products, testing and gaining insight that reveal the motivations and behaviours of users when they interact with us using the latest technologies such as Chatbot, Voice and AI.

We are a hard-working, fun-loving, multi-disciplinary team of user experience designers, visual and interaction designers, researchers, content strategists and web developers who collaborate closely with each other to create experiences that inspire, engage and excite our customers.

As a UX Researcher you will
  • Have a mixture of practical skills in the research field – including planning, executing and communicating studies that reveal the motivations and behaviours of users. 
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to inspire design thinking and customer empathy in an agile, fast paced, iterative environment.
  • Act as a promoter for a culture that delivers outstanding experiences for real people, grounded in meaningful evidence.
  • Have a hunger for curiosity for the user experience, a love of learning, open mindedness and a drive to make things better for the user.
  • Represent the customer’s voice in the product development process.
  • Enthusiastically promote the value of research across the business.
  • Help provide mentoring and training to junior members of the team, as and when required.

Who you are 
  • Capable of effective prioritisation and working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and creative problem-solver.
  • Have sound knowledge of research design, survey design, user testing guides, user research analysis and statistical concepts.
  • An excellent report writer, capturing and communicating key observations and findings to stakeholders.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic for a team-oriented, collaborative, fun and fast paced environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of relevant technology and digital trends and research experience in multiple digital channels.
  • A proven experience of gathering and delivering actionable insights that you can share with us.
