The role will involve 
  • Bring industry leading digital UX and design principles for complex and high traffic website.
  • Helping to carve out and promote UX as a discipline and the value it brings to each project, senior stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Working with both technical and business stakeholders to define a best in class online experience for our users.
  • Taking a hands-on, ownership role of the Vodafone digital experience and brand expression.
  • Balancing the aspirations of the business, working within technical capabilities and lead by the needs of our users, at times having to make compromises.
  • Having a working knowledge of accessibility standards, their importance and relevance.
Key Requirements
  • Defining the UX both within projects and as a part of continual development.
  • Defining, conducting and analysing user research.
  • Conducting competitor and best in class digital experience reviews.
  • Creation and continuation of user journeys.
  • Creation of wireframes and prototypes (knowledge of Sketch would be advantageous).
  • Creation and evolving Personas.
  • Support project estimation.
  • Work with the business, project managers, project owners, users etc. To help define requirements and support in the writing of user stories.
  • Support the delivery of online systems and services.
  • Capture, review and implement change based on quantitative and qualitative measurements.
  • Work closely with all aspects of the business to truly understand the balance between user and business needs.
  • Help to define and monitor both industry UX trends and principals and help to evolve these within Vodafone.
Required experience
  • Practical UX experience within a dedicated UX role in the digital space.
  • Experience working on high traffic B2B and/or B2C websites. Experience on complex apps and website would be an advantage.
  • Experience working on CMS driven websites. Experience of Seibel would be an advantage.
  • Must have a UX portfolio or be able to demonstrate measurable input to previous digital projects.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Expert with Axure, Omnigraffle, Visio, Sketch or similar tools to produce wireframes, user journeys, IA maps and other prototypes of varying fidelity.
  • Skilled in information architecture and taxonomy definition.
  • Ability to define and deliver stakeholder workshops.
  • Experience running user research and associated analysis.
  • Understanding of analytics (quantitative and qualitative) and their value to UX.
  • An understanding of development practices and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and their impact on the digital experience.
