Whatever you excel at, whether it be management analysis, facts and figures, forging partnerships or supporting business-critical decisions – we’ve got the role for you.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. The IFRS 16 Programme team are responsible for implementing a new accounting standard which sets out requirements for lease accounting, which recognises leases as assets (right of use) in the balance sheet and the associated liability for payments. This is fundamentally new to all 24 of Vodafone’s operating subsidiaries. The project is expected to result in significant changes to existing processes around the UK Business ref. identification and classification of leases, monitoring of the lease and data process flows.

Your challenge will be to support the project manager in implementing a consistent Change Management, Communication, Training and Transformation strategy across the business in all impacted functions. These activities will be in close cooperation with the central IFRS 16 programme team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a large finance transformation programme with wide-reaching impacts across the business, and represents a great opportunity to learn about Vodafone.
