Technology Solution Specialist
The Technology Solutions Specialist will work in a customer facing capacity, driving the enterprise customer solution by providing technical support to a virtual team of highly skilled professionals responsible for detailed customer design, development, integration and test of complex and bespoke Unified Communication, Contact Centre, WAN and LAN / WiFi solutions.
You will be engaged during the latter stages of the pre-sales cycle to provide technical assurance on complex solution viability and then ensure detailed solution compliance throughout delivery, only exiting once the solution is accepted into operation by the customer services organisation and warranty support period expired.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Lead the virtual team responsible for the detailed design, development, delivery and test of complex customer solutions working alongside the Project Manager providing assurance and governance for technical components of the solution.
Responsible for technically assuring the end-to-end delivery of customer projects, delivered by Vodafone and /or preferred Suppliers.
Low level discovery of existing solution components and owner of the transition from existing to proposed solution Builds influential and effective relationships with technical, service and delivery teams
Effective management of internal and external teams
Significant experience of fixed product market, in depth understanding of complex customer solutions including UC, Contact Centre and LAN/WAN related technologies
Proven track record for delivery of large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions; demonstrable leadership skills and organisational experience
High standard of written & verbal communication skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Enterprise Architecture Framework (e.g. TOGAF) knowledge
Strong project delivery methodology (e.g. PRINCE2) and framework (e.g. MSP)knowledge
Strong business process framework knowledge (e.g. ITIL)
Vendor professional accreditations preferred.
Degree in engineering or scientific discipline
