Role purpose 
  • Ensure that the Customer Experience is at the heart of all the teams’ activities. 
  • Foster team working both internally and between partners within UK IT Operations. 
  • Help in ensuring the Patch Management and monitoring processes are followed.
  • Understand the technology and best practices trends in the Capacity and Patch/TI Security space
  • Understand the technology and best practices trends in the Application Performance Monitoring space
  • Required to input to the strategy and planning process where risks have been identified with the infrastructure operations team. 
  • Ensure that the Partners are involved in the Capacity and Patch Management process and the quality of the proposed solutions are of the High Quality
  • Identify opportunities for infrastructure estate optimization
  • Work with the Release management and Service Readiness governance teams to ensure that all changes to systems are transitioned into IT Operations to the levels required 
  • Provide IT operations project delivery support and management throughout project lifecycle
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of end to end UK IT infrastructure issues that span across multi-system and therefore multi-vendor teams (internal & external) to drive through to resolution. 
Experienced Desired
  • Excellent understanding of telecommunications / information technology solutions
  • Circa 5 years Telco/IT experience
  • Proven great customer service experience
  • Proven logical Problem solving skills.
  • Proven Project coordination experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team Working – Ability to lead, inspire and influence others to deliver.
