About the role

Working under the supervision of the Technology Security Lead and other members of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of security assessment activities including ensuring security design requirements have been met, defects identified through security testing have been mitigated and any deviation from policy have been accurately captured through the risk management process. 

The wide range of projects you will be working on will encompass the full range of Network technologies, allowing you to demonstrate your expertise and further grow and develop your skills.  Your initial focus will be on smaller projects and “business as usual” changes.

The Technology Security team supports the business across a wide variety of services and solutions with continual advances in the technology and applications.  The success candidate will demonstrate an aptitude and enthusiasm for continual learning.  

The projects and “business as usual” changes you will be working on will encompass the full range of Vodafone IT and telecoms technologies, and will be likely to have a particular focus on:
  • Enterprise: Fibre and SDH transport networks;
  • Enterprise: IP and MPLS networks;
  • Enterprise: Converged Enterprise services (e.g. VoIP services and Virtual Contact Centres);
  • Enterprise:  PSTN;
  • Internal: Corporate Network technologies;
  • Internal: End user computing / BYOD;
  • Internal: Network Management and other OSS Systems.
