Our Team:

The Vodafone Cloud and Security organization is a business unit that helps clients realise business value from cloud infrastructure solutions and you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive its growth and shape its future Joining us as a Technical Security Authority you can be part of our empowering our Cloud & Security function. The Future is exciting. Ready?

Your primary focus will be to provide the best in class Technical Security consultancy to the Group Enterprise Business across a wide range of IT, Network & Telecoms solutions and services. You need to be able to solve complex and multi-dimensional problems in a commercially sensible manner.

You will provide consultancy and technical assurance for the Run (in life) state of Vodafone’s Product and Service portfolio with specific responsibility to ensure that Customer contractual security obligations and Internal technical security standards are effective and in place. You will be experienced in technical security architecture and be able to scope vulnerability and penetration tests across a variety of domains, applications and network.

You will have wide and deep understanding of the I.T. and Network systems development lifecycle as you will be working with architects, analysts and a host of third parties to assure technical and customer contractual compliance of Vodafone’s products, platforms and services.

With us you will:
  • Scoping of product or service security testing of various components in complex, critical and diversified information systems.
  • Review the effectiveness of security controls, and propose security improvements during product and service assessment.
  • Assess security controls using ISO27001 control framework and able to map requirements/observation into other security frameworks.
  • Assess and ensure technical security controls are implemented effectively during the Run (in life) phase of products and report common findings to ensure future secure builds
  • Assess business and security impact to both Customer and Vodafone of technology change requests to product/service during their life cycle.
Apply if you have: 
  • Experience scoping of product or service security testing of various components in complex, critical and diversified information systems.

  • Ability to review the effectiveness of security controls, and propose security improvements during product and service assessment.

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ,ISO27001 Lead Auditor

  • Practical experience and knowledge of applying OWASP, ISO27001:2013, CSA cloud controls framework, NIST or ISF

  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft O365, Azure and Amazon AWS cloud platforms, latest encryption tools.
