About the role

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of solutions in the Fulfilment and Service Activation OSS Domain. Accountable for delivering and maintaining the roadmap of the Fulfilment and Service Activation portfolio systems driving them towards the strategic architecture, moving the portfolio to new technologies like NFV, SDN, Virtualization and Cloud. You will manage the Fulfilment & Activation Systems such as Cisco ACS, Cisco MVSO, Nokia 5620SAM, Cortex Automation and others, with focus on the lifecycle and roadmap of these platforms in conjunction with OSS design team and IT Architecture. 

Key Responsibilities  
  • Represent OSS Fulfilment & Activation domain to the demand, Networks, bid and NPD community for Impact Assessments, costs and effort. 
  • Produce, own and maintain the OSS Fulfilment & Activation technical roadmap in conjunction with IT architecture and OSS domain design.
  • Technical ownership of the development & lifecycle of OSS Fulfilment & Activation Systems.  
  • Provide work package breakdowns to deliver end to end OSS solutions. 
  • Technical Authority for Domain OSS solutions, interfacing with vendors and 3rd parties as appropriate.

Key Skills and Experience
  • Virtualization / Cloud Experience. 
  • Hands on Deployment experience.
  • Technical knowledge of fixed and Mobile networks (3G, 4G IP, Voice & Transmission, Broadband). 
  • Ability to discuss technical details internally and with SIs and vendors.
  • Software Delivery and Project Lifecycle knowledge and experience focus on Agile delivery.
  • Ability to build credibility across technical and operational teams as well as influencing stakeholders to agree on technical solutions or delivery approaches.
  • Any formal Cisco certifications / accreditations (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) would be beneficial to the application. 
  • Any exposure to Big Data would be beneficial to the application. 
  • Excellent written, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
