Supply Chain Manager – IT
Are you ready to join our UK Supply Chain Management team?
This is a critical role which will provide commercial support to Vodafone UK through end to end management of the procurement process for high/medium risk, high/medium value procurement activities across the IT category (hardware, software and professional services).
- Develop and deliver procurement strategies which seeks out business opportunities and capitalise on current market conditions.
- Manage the procurement process for key projects ensuring the selection of suppliers with the capability to meet our needs, high service standards, efficient execution and competitive costs.
- Drive value creation and efficiency opportunities, understand total cost of ownership and work with key suppliers to implement value-add initiatives.
What’s important to us?
You’ll need to be highly commercial with a background in IT Procurement with the ability to understand the complexity of the businesses within which we operate. We want someone who can work with pace and energy who will challenge whatever is not simple, efficient or cost effective. An experienced contracts negotiator, you’ll challenge the business requirements making us more competitive, leaner and a more agile business.
