About the role

The Strategic Partnership function has been established to develop and drive a business-wide aligned strategic plan to manage Vodafone’s most strategic partnerships. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team and proactively contribute to key deliverables across the plan.

As a Strategic Partnership Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a strategic partnership model for Vodafone’s largest supplier
  • Working cross-functionally, in collaboration with Enterprise, Consumer, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, Strategy and other Vodafone functions, to drive an aligned strategic agenda 
  • Delivering and tracking cost efficiencies, and working closely with Commercial functions to ensure appropriate margin maximisation to offset any Partner-led upward pressure 
  • Support the optimisation of Vodafone’s cost base, including analysis of spend, long-range cost planning, and developing adequate reporting to effectively manage the strategic partnership
  • Being a key influential member of the team, contributing recommendations on the model and supporting the ultimate roll-out across other strategic partners

  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to guide, influence and convince internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of managing partners and/or developing strategy
  • Ability to explain complex issues, risks and opportunities to a senior audience
  • Tenacious, proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a relentless focus on delivering results
  • Strong financial skills preferred
