Role Title: Solution Architect – Collaboration Services

The Office IT Collaboration Domain’s Service Portfolio sits right at the heart of Vodafone’s Digital Workplace strategy and portfolio. The Office IT Solution Architect Collaboration Services has to ensure solutions delivered by the Collaboration development team and 3rd parties can be seamlessly integrated, transitioned and operated within the Office IT Collaboration application landscape.

Ensure Vodafone Collaboration platforms architecture adheres to security and Enterprise Architecture guidelines and industry best practices focused on defining, implementing and continuously improving the platform architecture.

The key responsibility of a solution architect within Collaboration domain is the creation of technical solution designs and the technical support and guidance of the project implementation during the development and technical setup and implementation phases

With us you will:
 
  • Delivery of technical designs (HLD, LLD, TAD)
  • Responsible for the end-to-end architecture design of cloud based services (such as Office 365) integrated into the Collaboration Services & Portfolio

  • Create and gather the technical requirements and analyse technology trends,

Accountable for any technical aspects during a project delivery phase

  • Technical guidance and hands-on support for internal development team.

  • Drive and guide technical innovations, incl. POC and cloud migration process

  • Assuring that technical solution meets security requirements incl. code review

  • Close interface with Security, Office IT and Enterprise Architects.

  • Proactively delivers improvement strategies, opportunities, risks, cost efficiency proposals, functionality simplification/consolidation strategies for the products under responsibility.

  • Definition of technical requirements towards depending teams (Firewall, DC, Network, other Office IT teams)

 
 
 
 
Apply if you have:
  • Deep knowledge in programming, technology frameworks, standards and technical modelling.
  • Experience on multiple Hardware and Software Environments (for.eg- distributed, desktop, and mobile) and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level

  • Good understanding of ITIL Service Management
  • Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Collaboration technologies (e.g. SharePoint server 2010/2016/2019, Multifarm / Crossfarm Environments, MS Data Protection Manager, SCOM), Database knowledge (e.g. MSSQL) , Development knowledge (e.g. PowerShell Scripting, development Frameworks)
  • Microsoft Office 365,  solution design and management experience in a large scale IT Enterprise environment
