Role: Commercial Manager for SME – Cloud & Security
Location: Bracknell/Newbury

Role purpose:

Vodafone Cloud & Security (VC&S) provides products and services to companies, public authorities and charities around the world. VC&S has embarked on a significant phase of accelerated revenue growth in the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) segment. Over the next four years, VC&S is enhancing the customer offer, entering new market segments and enabling our OPCO’s to target the 10m existing SME customers.
We require a Commercial Manager to implement effective cross functional business planning measures and controls to support the SME growth of Cloud & Security. This will include supply and demand planning, using knowledge of IT infrastructure economics, activity based costing, and other business planning tools, to optimise our SME acceleration plans and the expansion of the business across our OPCO’s and Partner Markets.

This role is to be accountable for:
Maintaining a robust, transparent and innovative strategic business planning capability and associated models to ensure we are actively planning and managing the financial and commercials returns and risks associated with the SME and SaaS programme within Vodafone Cloud & Security.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Have a Business or Finance related degree or further qualification.
• Ideally at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial and strategic planning within a Technology business.
• Very strong analytical capabilities, 
• Experience in business analytics, strategic thinking, and operations. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent to both Vodafone Cloud and Security and Operating Companies at all levels of our organisation

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Support of key business stakeholder participation in the planning and execution of the SME Programme.
• Cross functional collaboration including: key Vodafone Operating Companies, Finance, Sales, Business Development, Commercial Development, Product management and Technology.
• Market modelling to understand future market direction for Cloud in SME products, sharing and presenting insight to Head of SME and Cloud & Security Director.
• Business casing strategic changes such as new products and sales investments and guiding through approval forums.
• Partner deal modelling and negotiations for Global propositions
• Lead on the business planning activity for acceleration throughout key Vodafone budget cycles.
