Extend Vodafone’s global brand footprint allowing the creation of a unique international experience for both our consumer and Multinational Corporate customers
Leverage Vodafone's innovation, scale and competence to help improve the performance of our Partner operators
Generate profitable revenues for our Partners and Vodafone by sharing in the financial upsides created across the Partner Markets community
As a Senior CVM Manager, you will forge strong effective relationships with the experts in our Partners, develop relationships with other Vodafone functions and encourage alignment, support the presentation of the functional area and articulate the functional proposition to Partner Managers and Partners. You will also develop a good understanding of the product catalogue and the Partners’ priorities for functional stakeholders, as well as contribute to updating the Partner Account Plan.
Based within Consumer, you will do the following:
Provide consulting to Partner Markets about CVM - Customer Value Management/ Base marketing (and potentially some on Digital Marketing & Big Data) through benchmarking, maturity level assessments and recommendations leading to a jointly agreed roadmap and strong strategic business relationship on marketing.
This work is carried out in a consultancy like approach and often supporting business development of new opportunities with Partner Markets (e.g. projects)
Deliver CVM projects to our 45 Partner Markets (PM) across the globe, enhancing their overall base management performance and CVM transformation, with a strong focus on digital. For instance:
Commercial improvement programmes: customer lifecycle management improvements e.g. upsell & cross-sell of value added-services/ fixed / mobile lines, retention & churn management, tariff migration management, prepay inactivity management, top-up volume and value management, revenue & usage stimulation, loyalty programs
Support Big Data and Digital Marketing acceleration programmes: Digital transformation e.g.. agile methodology, Multi-Channel Campaign Management, Performance Marketing on digital channels (App, Web, Mobile Web, Digital assisted, DMP) or Big Data incl. applications of Big Data to solve business problems, basic enablers, model performance etc.. Contribute with big data/digital marketing best practices to help Vodafone to become the industry leader.
Capability implementation: support the implementation of capabilities supporting the above e.g. Tariff simulation tool, Next Best Action (NBA) frontline tool, retention optimiser, DMP etc.
These usually requires leading cross-functional and 3rd party project teams (remote and/or on-site presence) to deliver agreed results proven, measured value created for the partner), on time and in budget to ensure quality & impact.
Develop and present best practices: Package and/or enhance Vodafone Operating Companies (OpCos) & Group CVM best practices and present these to our Partner markets (e.g. webinars, workshop) seeking value creation on the partner side. When applicable also share new/successful initiatives from our Partner markets initiatives.

- Willingness to travel approx. 5-15 days a month (varies by project phase)
- Able to quickly establish trust and credibility with senior stakeholders
- Proficient influencing, business development and negotiating skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work internationally with different cultures & markets in different stages of maturity
- 2+ years Sales and/or Consultancy experience
- A minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial management or marketing (e.g. CRM, Digital Marketing) with in a dynamic organisation operating in a matrix/agile model
- MBA preferred
