This is an exciting opportunity to join Vodafone UK’s external communications team. You will help us communicate effectively with our business audiences and stakeholders via media and online publications and through social engagement.

About the Role:
Managing a team of four plus and external agent, you will design and deliver the consumer PR strategy and campaigns, to maximise opportunities to drive improved consideration and NPS for Vodafone UK.

You will:
• Design and deliver the consumer PR strategy, through clear campaigns and ad-hoc activity
• Work in close collaboration with brand, social media and commercial colleagues to maximise opportunities to drive improved consideration and NPS for Vodafone UK.
• Manage external agencies and resources to deliver best in class, innovative and highly engaging consumer PR campaigns which drive positive media and social media coverage.
• Ensure all consumer PR activities have the support and buy-in from the Internal Communications and other teams, as appropriate, to support an integrated approach to message delivery.
• Provide specialist advice on reputational impact of key commercial decisions and present strategic options
Ensure that the impact of our communications activities aimed at consumers are measured consistently and effectively to ensure success is clearly defined for key stakeholders.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Demonstrable track record within a highly rated agency, an in-house external communications department
• Dynamic, self-motivated and clear communicator with the ability to get to the heart of complicated issues with speed
• Experience of working in a collegiate way with senior executives, peers, team members and/or agencies.
