What will you be doing? 
The Radical Simplification & Automation team acts as the Centre of Excellence to drive the digital and automation transformation path for Vodafone UK.  This is a critical function to move Vodafone UK from a transaction based operation, to a highly automated insight- and data-driven organisation.

The Automation Demand and Resource role will forecast, plan, manage, and prioritise the backlog of RSA analytics and automation opportunities, own the relationship with IT and TCS. Control and manage backlog, current status, output and quality.


Key aspects of the role:

  • Act as the focal point for the collection and processing of RSA analytics and automation initiatives which will deliver Vodafone UK business value
  • Interface with IT Demand Management to forecast and plan analytics and automation delivery capability at a macro / pipeline level
  • Prioritization of analytics and automation solutions based on cost, time to market and business value delivered
  • Coordination and monitoring of solution development within spoke functions, including project timelines, deliverables and cost
  • Interface with IT Delivery Management to monitor the delivery of RSA analytics and automation solutions from IT development and test providers
  • Represent the RSA team in internal and external forums, promoting and driving a Vodafone UK analytics and automation strategy



Who are we looking for?  

  • Experience in an IT project management role is essential, especially in managing multi-functional teams and holding others to account
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of working with a broad cross section of business users
  • Strong commercial skills, able to evaluate and measure business value and ROI
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and rapport quickly
