Our Team:


To fulfil the Technology requirements of the IoT programme, Vodafone Group has developed its own IoT Service Platforms to target the key strategic growth area of IoT & Consumer Electronics designed specifically to meet the needs of Global IoT customers and protected by Vodafone IPR.


Role is crucial to successfully manage the end-to-end technology deliverables of new projects with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders and enable the on-going development of this key strategic business differentiator for Vodafone by delivering new and innovative IoT products, features, capabilities and services


With us you will:

  • Be responsible for end-to-end technology project delivery management of one or more projects, products, solutions or deployments in market in accordance with the IOT product portfolio

  • Manage all project delivery activities (risks, issues, actions). Ensure products and solutions are fit for purpose (meet requirements) and ready for service (supportable). Ensure the project is initiated, set-up, defined, executed and closed in order to achieve the benefits expected by key stakeholders, 

  • Build and maintain Project Delivery specific KPIs for tracking against target. Manages the project scope and budget, and monitors the expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the project progresses.

  • Lead cross functional delivery - main interface between the Commercial organisation in Vodafone and all Technology departments internal and external (including Vendors) to Enterprise Products and Services Team. Positively engage identified stakeholders and manage the project team (internal colleagues and resources engaged via third parties) 

  • Be a single point of contact and coordination for project delivery with cross-reporting into the IoT Portfolio management team

 We need you to have:

  • Understanding of internet of things technologies & architecture

  • Excellent Project Management skills (methodologies and tools) proven by track record of at least5 years in a mobile Telecom or Technology environment

  • Strong leader, able to chair and manage meetings. Excellent ability to influence and motivate teams

  • Strong background in managing design and development projects in the Telecoms/Mobile industry; IT experience would be an advantage.

  • Prioritisation skills. Results focused and driven

  • International experience and background in a matrix organisation

     

We’re happy if you:  

  • Prince2, MSP or similar certificate
