With us you will: 
  • Complete major communications installations within the customer’s premises and various substation environments

  • Liaise with client staff, Vodafone internal technical groups and external customers to deliver all activities within SLA timescales

  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults
  • Complete network reports and analysis when required
  • Work to customer billing milestones critical to project completions 

What you can expect from us: 
  • Be home-based
  • Be provided with a company-branded vehicle

 
Apply if you have: 
  • Have a proven track record in the installation and 2nd line support of DC Chargers, PDH, SDH and IP Networks to include copper and fibre networks Layers 1 to 3

  • Knowledge and Expertise in the following:
  • Radio Communications
  • Comtel Avara Communication equipment
  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP
  • LAN/WAN routing and switching
  • Nokia Communication equipment
  • The ability to effectively operate and integrate into a customer environment showing strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of enthusiasm

  • Are able to demonstrate a record of working independently and to deadlines

  • Are prepared to travel and work out of hours/on stand-by

We’re happy if you:
 
  • Knowledge of high voltage substation environment 33kv-400kv 

  • HNC in Telecommunications (or equivalent)
