Project Delivery Manager

Newbury

Part time opportunity 4 days a week or reduced hours over 5 days. 


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join our Enterprise Transformation team in a part time role. 


In this role, you will be focusing on closing down legacy services on our network to decommission IT legacy systems in order for us to provide simple and effective customer journeys. 

The projects range from simple, through to complex / multi-work stream. They are truly end to end – understanding the product / customer landscape, cleansing of networks, inventory, billing and provisioning systems, closure of infrastructure and applications.


Your role

  • Defines scope, business objectives, requirements and deliverables that stakeholders expect

  • Ensures the project is established, executed and closed following standard company governance regime in a manner that ensures delivery to time, cost and quality.

  • Responsible for documentation of outputs, analysis and tools used in project activity.

  • Accurately manages a project budget, coordinates, and reconciles budget for delivery of a number of work streams.

  • Ensures accurate forecasting and value for money.

  • At all times ensuring there is an effective Risk Mitigation and Issue management process in place.

  • Tracks benefits, costs, invoicing authorisations, actuals & rolling forecasts


About you:

You will have working knowledge of networks and have experience of delivering solutions and services to customers either as a project manager or from TES. 

Ideally you will have technical knowledge of Transmission/ Optical networks & experience in Waterfall or Agile. 


You will be a strong communicator with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
