Are you a Customer facing Programme Manager looking for your next role?

As a Programme Manager you will be responsible for leading large customer facing programmes across multiple domains on behalf of Vodafone for our Enterprise Customers, leading complex multi-party teams, taking responsibility at board level, their peer within the customer organisation will generally be programme manager with direct reporting into CTO, CIO level. 

You will have day to day accountability for a budget which is generally £5million annual order value, with matrix management to approx. 80.

You will engage through contract negotiations and be responsible for translating often ambiguous requirements into operational plans, engaging buy-in across all stakeholder groups. Set the governance controls for the programme, ensuring these align to corporate, customer and local standards, with strong emphasis on assurance and gate reviews, defining the programme costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, programme resources and programme risk & change strategy.

You will be accountable for ensuing that the programme and all interrelated projects, dependencies, assumptions  and risks are identified, stakeholder buy in achieved, stage plans created, managed and reported though the lifecycle of the programme, emphasis on alignment to Time, Cost and Quality.

Accountable for acceptance into live service, mitigating impact of risk to both the customers and Vodafone’s operational business. 

What’s needed?

  • Significant proven successful track record in managing complex Telecommunications and IT programmes for large corporate customers
  • MSP Practitioner/Advanced Practitioner is essential 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to generate drive and commitment within yourself and others so objectives are achieved to defined standards
  • Gravitas, with the ability to operate at senior stakeholder level both internally and externally, demonstrating leadership and presenting at Executive & Steering board level  
  • Excellent Programme Management skills
  • Highly influential communicator, with the ability to interface at senior management levels and establish good relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Eligible for SC clearance
  • Live within an hour commute from our London or Newbury offices depending on base location.
