Product Owner

Newbury


Digital Transformation is a new team within Vodafone Business, focusing on radically simplifying our platforms, commercial propositions, products and tariffs. You’ll play a leading role in fulfilling Vodafone's digital ambitions, focusing on the key principles of simplification, standardisation and a Digital First approach, ensuring we drive and deliver an Agile transformation plan.


As a Product Owner you will be responsible for creating the backlog for business requirements and working closely with functional stakeholders across Sales, Commercial, Product to prioritise activities. You will also be working with the delivery teams to effectively communicate and translate business requirements.


Your role

  • Understand and contribute to shaping the roadmap, product and customer experience vision by working closely with the Scrum Master, Business Change Leads and Development Teams, taking responsibility to scope and define backlog items for delivery.

  • Ensure consistency across the multiple programmes of work under the Prospect to Clean Order programmeUnderstand, at a high level, our Products & Services and IT platforms so that you can provide context when engaging with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Use your excellent communication skills and ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure the right requirements and customer experience aspirations can be elicited, managed and prioritised to enable the successful delivery the programme.

  • Manage traceability of the delivered business value to ensure the business impact is understood.

  • Structure and articulate complex and ambiguous issues in a clear and straightforward way, identifying potential conflicts and managing different stakeholder perspectives so that the right decisions can be made. 

About you

  • Natural approach to stakeholder engagement, affability and confidence in working with a range of senior stakeholders 

  • A collaborative working style and ability to quickly build good working relationships 

  • Analytical skills/Attention to detail 

  • An understanding of Mobile &/or Fixed Line Products and Services

  • Experience of Agile/SAFe preferred

  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Trello
