The Principal Solution Architect (PSA) leads the Pre-Sales virtual solution team and is accountable for the overall solution proposal for large, complex, multi-tower opportunities within Vodafone. The role will interface into Sales, Commercial, Legal, Supplier Management, Product and Practices functions to ensure that the solution is proposed by the virtual solution team is capable of being contracted, built and delivered for the cost defined within the proposal.
You will work closely with the customer and account team to refine the requirements providing guidance and expertise in relation to the Vodafone product portfolio providing advice, thought leadership and direction to enable Sales strategy and customer architectural decisions within the account.
As the Solution Authority within the Bid Team and will use his or her extensive experience from a telecommunications service provider background to formulate compelling customer solutions which will set Vodafone apart from the competitor.
In this role you will need to be able to demonstrate superb influencing and stakeholder management skills internally and externally
You will use this to establish and maintain an excellent understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs to shape and translate the solutions fit to the Vodafone Group Enterprise products and Service Portfolio
You will have full accountability for the solutions that Vodafone provides to the customer. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are high quality, commercially viable and have been approved by the customer and all internal stakeholders
Polished presentation and communication style with ability to present to internal and external stakeholders up to C-level.
Strong personal brand, Interpersonal skills able to work in a complex matrix managed virtual team. Across organisational boundaries.
Structured methodology with the ability to apply critical thinking whilst operating with precision and at pace.
Ability to flex style, drive solution strategy and operate with resilience in a pressurised environment to ensure solution design is delivered within the timescales.
Deadline oriented with excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to set and manage stakeholder expectation.
