The Role

As Lead Infrastructure Architect you will define and lead the architecture & strategy of infrastructure within Vodafone Group, with specific focus on infrastructure specialisations including: Solutions, Private Cloud, Storage, Servers, Database, Backup/Recovery & Archive. You will also provide Vodafone with a key infrastructure presence within large Common of the Shelf (COTS) programmes through close strategic vendor relationships.

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Architect, who is passionate about Technology Infrastructure and wants to become part of an international team delivering leading-edge solutions within a global organization.


As Lead Infrastructure Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Strong proven experience defining and developing infrastructure technical strategy and architecture for a broad range of services & solutions within a global organisation.
Strong Analysis Skills including: process definitions, business cases, feasibility studies and requirements definition
Experience of technical & commercial Project Management, and strong understanding of budgeting & financial business case modelling
Ability to build and maintain strong on-going business relationships at both a senior & strategic level with internal and external customers.
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills combined with highly effective technical presentation skills to very senior internal & external management
Strong proven experience defining and developing infrastructure technical strategy and architecture for a broad range of services & solutions within a global organisation.
