Reports to: Head of Solution Design & Service, UK Business
Location: Flexible within England.
We have an exciting leadership position for a Practice Lead Solution Consulting to lead and manage a team of Solution Architects and Technical Advisors in our Regional Sales UK Business function.
As the Practice Lead, you will be leading and managing our technical Pre-Sales Solution Design team within the UK business Sales Channel to deliver market-leading solutions to our enterprise customer within the UK.
Promote the Solution Design team throughout Vodafone and support the Solution Design leadership team with improvement and/or business change initiatives
Providing considerable insight into the business and technology issues facing large enterprises.
To lead, manage and coach a team within the Solution Design organisation, providing a first point of escalation and duty of care to their colleagues
Support the Solution Design leadership team and promote the team in your interactions with other areas of the business.
Design high level technical sales strategies to support successful business growth.
Provide organisational leadership through ensuring correct, timely & accurate completion of the required forecasting and time recording tools for your team.
Ensure colleagues are adhering to best practice ensuring peer review of all outputs.
Coach, guide and give feedback to individual team members in order to help them build on their strengths, improve and sustain their performance and develop their potential.
Extensive pre-sales/solution design experience within a customer facing environment
Understands and able to lead Pre-Sales/Solution Design consultants
Proven record of designing high level technical sales strategies to support successful business growth
Capable of working in a matrix organisation and able to build strong relationship and credibility with Board/ Executives both internally and externally
Good leadership skills being able to pull together and motivate pre-sales teams, with a proven record of building people and organisational capability.
Knowledge of the communications market – technical, market and customer drivers. The ability to translate customer need to technical solution.
Industry recognised technical accreditations eg TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture Methodologies, ITIL.
