The Consumer IoT function (V by Vodafone) is accountable for the design, development, deployment and operations of state-of-the-art propositions in the Consumer IoT space. By using the latest technologies and agile delivery practices, all these products and services are provided with high quality to ensure excellent brand and revenue impact on a market estimated to be worth 10 billion Euro by 2021 in Europe.

The role:

The Sales Reporting, forecasting and performance manager role is responsible for defining, implementing and managing the operational performance framework for all Sales across CIoT. This includes standardisation of reporting across countries, forecasting and planning.


A key element of the role is to ensure efficient communication between various stakeholders, team members, external partners and suppliers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key to success for ensuring the efficient standardisation of revenue.  The role will contribute to the definition and evolution of the Consumer IoT of Vodafone and ensure a strong plan and performance for the future.

With us you will:
  • Planning and forecasting of CIOT product range based on commercial inputs across every market and every product.
  • Completely automate aggregation of sales and activation data from various sources and systems into a single database which updates daily
  • Similarly define and build a process to automate reports for new local markets
  • Define and build process to accommodate new product range within automated reports
  • Create multiple dashboards for sales and marketing as per stakeholder requirements
  • Extract insights on channel and product mix that define commercial initiatives that maximize trading performance
  • Run sales governance and performance trading calls with markets..
  • Define Business cases for new commercial initiatives like margins, commissions, etc.
  • Lead aggregation of sales forecasts for various products from Vodafone local markets, rework forecasts based on product launches
Apply if you have:
  • Experienced Sales Operations individual with experience in setting up, tracking, reporting of commercial models
  • Capable of running forecasting with sales teams and reporting upwards on key findings.
  • Experience in OpCo reporting & performance tracking
  • Track record in structuring commercial models and business cases.
  • Strong programme and project management processes (i.e. project planning, control and reporting)
  • Strong experience of excel macros, Tableau , Datameer, MIS and Hyperion
  • Experience of BI, Analytics & CRM tools
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills including innovative and creative thinking; and financial Business case, scenario modelling.
  •  Strong analytical, conceptual and organisational skills.
