PEGA Developer
Location: Newbury
Salary: £Competitive salary + excellent benefits

Automating work processes & developing the business for the future.

Developers work collaboratively in scrum teams of between 5 and 8, primarily using the Pega 7/8 platform and Cortex platforms to automate business, IT and technical processes. Developers will work from a product backlog of user stories and will contribute to all aspects of the delivery of those user stories; estimating size and complexity, development, testing, peer review and demonstration to users, defect and bug fixing. 

The UK Automation CoE is one of the areas’ leading this change using cutting edge, market leading technologies to develop ‘no-code’ and ‘low-code’ applications to automate activity across our business. Vodafone is adopting an Agile mindset and scrum methodology as a part of developing the business for the future.

What’s important to us?  
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in project delivery.
  • PEGA certified to SSA or equivalent .
  • Knowledge and experience with Robotics solutions, ideally Pega/Openspan.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, detailed knowledge on one to a RHCE/MCSE standard desirable. 
  • Understanding and experience of common technologies, including RDBMs, No-SQL, REST/SOAP, TLS/SSL, Cloud and virtualisation.
  • CSSAs and/or CLSA Certifications
