Our Team:

This role will act as a collaborative and innovative subject matter expert within the Vodafone Business HR Centre of Excellence supporting on strategic HR projects and programmes of activity.  This role will ensure optimum organisation effectiveness and performance across Vodafone business through:

  • Supporting on the design & development of Vodafone Business op model

  • Supporting on delivery of OE projects in relation to key business opportunities or problems

  • Supporting on agile workforce planning/budgeting process in conjunction with Business Partners & Finance. 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Collaborating with business and HR to support on sub-section designs for operating model and OE interventions

  • Supporting to embed operating model as a visible change tool across the business

  • Support in alignment of regions and markets to operating model and organisation designs e.g Digital op model

  • Support on budgeting cycles and lead on co-ordination of this process, applying OE design lens and challenge

  • Support on development of OE toolkits and frameworks

  • Grade new roles using Willis Towers Watson grading methodology, roles analysis, role profiles and organisation designs

  • Execute the annual organisational health check and analysis of organisation shape to assist HR Director in identifying key focus areas for the following year

  • Lead and act as the primary point of contact for the HR Director in the annual workforce planning process. This activity includes: process planning, stakeholder alignment, gathering data insights and analytics for over 10,000 employees distributed across various international locations, support HR Director with building the budget review pack and story line, optimise process and analytics, educates on an ongoing basis the key stakeholders

  • Provide the HR Director and HRBP community with monthly Functional dashboards (ie headcount, employment cost reporting, trends and variations compared to the budget)

  • Business partner on Reward and complex functional area within VGS

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Understanding and experience with Organisation Effectiveness methods and approaches

  • Understanding and experience of agile and adaptable organisation techniques

  • Able to maintain a high level of personal credibility and excellent working relationships with the HR Director, senior leaders in HR, Finance and the business

  • Research and analysis skills both internal and external sources of information

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written – simple style

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong attention to detail is essential

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Business strategy qualifications desirable but not essential
  • HR professional qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Preferred previous experience with job grading methodology
  • University degree
