Role Profile


As Offerings Manager for Cloud Services, you will take a key role within the new organisation. You will define, own and manage a selection of our Cloud Managed and Professional Services Offerings.


Using insights from the marketplace, our customers and internal and external technology insight, you will be involved in the definition of an offering roadmap relevant and compelling to new and existing Vodafone customers and to make true our ambitious growth plan. Having defined the roadmap, you will orchestrate both IBM and Vodafone capabilities, to build and launch our Cloud Services in the market place and then work to optimise marketplace traction.


An important aspect of the role is to assess the extensive range of services provided by IBM and work collaboratively with both IBM and Vodafone teams to bring these services to market.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Ensure that our Cloud Services engage and excite our enterprise customers, our Cloud specialists and global sales people, analysts and our employees by demonstrating the benefits of our Total Cloud Platform portfolio. 

  • Evaluate current and future external trends; have insight to the competitor landscape and the Vodafone technology vision.

  • Collaborate with other Portfolio Heads, Marketing, Group Enterprise, Group Technology and OpCo’s to assess opportunity and demand.

  • With reference to the Cloud business plan, shape a portfolio of customer Offerings that can meet or beat our business objectives

  • Shape Offerings relevant to market channel, defining price, partner and product attributes

  • Obtain commitments from relevant stakeholders regarding delivery and testing, Enterprise and OpCo sales enablement and marketing and relevant partners to assure success.




To be successful in this role you will have experience and enjoyed business success in the telecoms/cloud/technology industry. Deep insight to cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and Platform as a service (PaaS) is not a specific prerequisite but over time you will emerge as a sought after expert in your field.


An understanding of the role of professional and managed services in helping customers to make the most of Cloud technologies and transform their business would be a major plus. You will be comfortable working in a matrix organisation, effectively collaborating with a wide range of disciplines from sales marketing to technology delivery.


You are comfortable working internationally, across a range of channels and you have good commercial instincts. You exercise sound judgement, have a style compatible with diverse stakeholder groups, and can juggle multiple competing priorities.
