This role is accountable for facilitating and enabling the transformation of the VBC&O NPD Engagement Framework from creation into operationalisation and then the ongoing running of the engagement model. In the first stages the role will be heavily involved in developing the NPD Framework and associated enabling infrastructure such as demand & resource management models, with the Principal NPD Engagement Manager and cross functional stakeholders.
The NPD Engagement manager is the first port of call for all NPD demand into VBC&O, they will manage the initial impact assessments against the VBC&O standard proposition, interacting with the VBP&S Project managers to ensure the standard requirements are adhered to and underlying principles met. They will engage and manage any extra and new standards that need to be created deciding when these are appropriate and making sure the correct approval is apparent. They will be accountable for ensuring the right methodology is being resourced Agile/Waterfall.
Working with the NPD Engagement Lead to facilitate VBC&O standard product requirement sets & Agile way of working models
Designing, deploying and maintaining demand and resource management mechanisms for all NPD activity
Carrying out impact assessments on NPD demand into VBC&O – defining correct route for the demand
Maintenance of VBC&O proposition requirements library – owning and running the updating processes with specified VBC&O functions.
Represent VBC&O on NPD boards as and when required
- Business Analysis preferably in a product field
- Agile product design and project deployment
- Previous experience in Agile coaching
- ITIL V3 experience or qualification
