Service Management & Reporting Specialist
Location – Newbury

Permanent - Part time role (3 Days per week)

 
About the role
 
Vodafone has a long standing contractual obligation to manage and operate National Grid’s own CNI Class Operational Telecoms fibre network. This includes the day-to-day management of Service Delivery, Asset Management, Inventory Management, Project Delivery and Incident Management.

 

The Service Management and Reporting Specialist Analyst is responsible for the production of a suite of contractually obligated Service Reports covering the performance of the contract and the network against SLA’s and other deliverables. The role will produce standard reports for the customer and internal stakeholders and produce ad-hoc analysis and reports whenever asked.

 

The role is responsible for the production of a detailed and accurate monthly service invoice and which will require direct liaison with colleagues involved in project delivery and the management of network inventories. The role will take responsibility to resolve any customer and account team billing issues and queries.

 

The role will analyse service incidents producing Root Cause Analysis reports and service improvement reports ultimately driving service improvement activities across the business and within the supply chain. The role will also be responsible for the calculation of service credits while seeking to mitigate them through the application of agreed relief events. The role will agree the final figures with the customer.


 

You will also be responsible for maintaining the teams ISO9001 QMS structure and the contract Business Operations Manual as part of this role.

 

 

What we are looking for in you.
 
You will possess a passion for Reporting and an eye for detail
Some understanding of Network Architecture would be highly beneficial as you will be reporting on network performance, capacity and availability type KPIs.
Some understanding of ITIL v3 principles
Demonstrable MS Word & Excel capability

Candidates must be eligible to undertake MoD vetting to obtain SC clearance for this role.  The criteria to apply for SC is for candidates to hold UK residency for a minimum of 5 years.
