As Marketplace Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Marketplace from two key development areas, OpCo CX enhancements as well as new features and functions being introduced by the Marketplace vendor (AppDirect). Working with Vodafone OpCo’s, Group delivery/technology and AppDirect to evolve the Marketplace into a market leading solution for Vodafone’s customers. This role within the Transformation and Digital team requires passion and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation to drive digital transformation into multiple geographies around the world.


The role covers Vodafone’s global footprint of Operating Countries as well as servicing the businesses within those geographies.  Critical to your success in this role, is the need to develop key relationships with key Group stakeholders as well as stakeholders across the globe.


With us you will:

  • Own the Marketplace backlog of work ensuring that key items are delivered on time – Working with Technology and Delivery teams
  • Become a key point of contact for new demands coming through the OpCo – Work with the rest of the Marketplace team to qualify and assess.
  • Own the SME Nexus site with a view of continually updating and driving as much traffic as possible. Also own a new way of sharing pertinent information with OpCo’s (Webinar, Community calls, etc)
  • Work closely with the rest of the Marketplace team to make sure that there is a clear understanding of the end to end impact of delivered items


Apply if you have:

  • Experience in delivering items through NPD processes. Sound understanding of how technology and delivery functions need to work
  • Communication Skills – Must be clear and concise in all areas of communication within Group functions as well as OpCos
  • Must have the ability to multi task and make solid priority calls on a day to day basis
  • Experience of working within a highly matrixed organisation
