Role Title: Marketing Proposition Lead

Role purpose:


This is a Global role to develop and manage Vodafone Business Propositions Strategy across SOHO, SME, Corporate and large Enterprise Business segments working closely with sales leaders, lines of business and product teams. This strategy covers both vertical and horizontal cross propositions.  You will:

  • Lead the work to develop the cross portfolio Propositions Strategy for the vertical sectors address by Vodafone Business across all segments

  • Develop formal points of view, the associated narrative, commercial offers and a deep understanding of the business context for our propositions for specific vertical markets

  • Develop marketing assets to promote the propositions developed

  • Responsible for presenting propositions directly and the broader narrative through the integration with and development of existing sales toolkits and other mechanisms for the creation and distribution of content

  • Engage and work collaboratively with Global and Op-Co Marketing functions to collaborate with their own proposition development activity and adapt group content for local markets and vice versa

  • Manage successful sales engagement both to help develop and make use of the propositions developed

  • Promote and leverage created assets, especially toolkits, and monitor usage and impact through specific KPIs

  • Deliver and share best practice and be the Business lead voice / champion / role model for proposition strategy across the Group

  • Deliver guidance to the Vodafone Operating Companies based on Vodafone Group strategic priorities, market developments and performance trends


    Track and monitor performance of all Vodafone Business Propositions, refreshing, evolving and introducing remedial actions as required, in conjunction with the Vodafone Operating Companies, Group Finance and Group Commercial.  

  • Lead the definition of the Propositions  Strategy for the Vodafone Business offer to specified vertical sectors
  • Deliver a propositions framework and specific detailed propositions for the selected vertical and horizontal propositions
  • Deliver guidance into Vodafone Operating Companies Business segments on proposition strategy
  • Work with Line of Business Propositions and Go To Market teams to collaborate in the definition and delivery of  propositions
