Just as you would suspect, our legal teams look after Vodafone's legal estate across the UK and play a big part in ensuring Vodafone’s compliance with recent regulatory laws. Pushing our own agenda, we look to limit regulatory impacts. An adaptive individual, you’ll have the chance to work on high/medium risk acquisition activities, providing commercial legal advice on strategic procurement, technology and business development projects range of commercial contracts, including our network sharing arrangement with Telefonica, and in relation to Vodafone UK’s property interests in the UK.
• Draft and lead on the negotiation of agreements for the supply of goods and services, outsourcings and IT and Networks related projects?
• Support the mobile networks team with the implementation and management of Vodafone’s network sharing joint venture, which may include in-life contract advice and/or negotiation of new agreements?
• Review and participate in the negotiation of agreements for the supply of goods and services which impact and benefit Vodafone UK but which are being led by Vodafone’s group procurement function?
• Support on complex, strategic and high value property transactions including drafting documents, negotiating terms and providing general advice, assistance and support to key stakeholders?
We are looking for a Qualified Lawyer with a good technical grounding in general commercial and contract law. A track record of advising on a number of material commercial transactions, ideally in the telecommunications sector would be preferred. Previous experience of advising on property law matters and/or the Electronic Communications Code is preferred but is not essential. It’s a given that you’ll have good negotiation and influencing skills and you’ll be able to lead legal negotiations on standard contracts and drive projects to successful completion.
