Looks to the future to refine and shape the global Vodafone security posture with respect to Vodafones Cloud strategy and the transformation programme. They are responsible for leading a range of technical work to develop Vodafones cloud security architectures to protect all aspects of Vodafone’s IT systems.
They are responsible for designing solutions and developing reference architectures that both balance security risk and protect customers, with user experience and business innovation. They also work across all local markets and Group entities to set the global IT security standards for Vodafone.

Acting as a Secure Systems Design Authority, the role is responsible for Secure Solutions Design. They work with Vodafone’s major strategic Cloud programmes, planning controls to counter emerging threats and address evolving technology. They will develop the blueprint of technical security controls and corresponding roadmaps, assessing and influencing suppliers.
The role takes a long term view of security control effectiveness, making use of and contributing towards constructive research and industry initiatives in the field of IT and Cloud. The individual is also expected to have a good understanding the latest research, vulnerability disclosures and policy topics with cloud architectures especially where they might have an impact on Vodafone and its customers, across all markets.
To lead and influence the security strategy at a senior technical level and be responsible for driving business change.
- Expert knowledge of security architectures, technologies, standards and industry guidelines, especially those applicable to Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, Iaas).
- Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios and communicate security risk in business terms and the ability to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Have technical experience of AWS / Azure / Google / MS
