Working within the Commercial team at Vodafone Group you will support our people to strengthen our position as an admired company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees. The team is varied and you could be working within the following functions - Brand, Commercial Management, Consumer Services, Terminals, M-Pesa or Customer Experience Operations. Role Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to gather, analyse and document requirements for the development of Vodafone Mobile Money services, and to confirm the feasibility of these services by creating and testing business configuration solutions. The role will involve both hands on work as well as overseeing the activities of other analysts depending on the assignment. As an ideal candidate you will likely have a proven track record in a Business / Systems analysis role, and be looking to progress your career in a lead analysis role.

With us you will:
  • Elicit requirements information from local market representatives and product experts, negotiate with stakeholders to understand real underlying requirements and priority.

  • Analyse, validate and organise information into business requirements documents, workflows and business configuration documentation.

  • Specify functional behaviour for the system, covering features, business process definition, user interface definition, report definition, business logic and Use Cases.

  • Working with the Test Manager, assist in the specification of Functional Acceptance Test strategy and test scenarios.

  • Working with the Risk and Compliance teams to complete new product and service risk assessments and ensure services reach Vodafone compliance standards.

  • Configure the mobile money platform in line with agreed business requirements.

  • Check direction and conduct peer reviews of Business Analysis documentation ensuring review comments are clearly documented and articulated.

  • Establish a network of contacts and continuously built strong relations with all stakeholders including customers, internal and external suppliers and senior management assuring engagement and commitment by all parties.

Apply if you have:
  • Experience of software development lifecycle

  • Experienced in the use of common business and systems analysis methodologies and modelling tools (e.g. UML, BPMN, Enterprise Architect).

  • Experience as a lead analyst, or managing the work of other analysts is desirable

  • Strong process and analytical skills, able to identify solutions to complex problems.

  • Strong business and customer focus.

  • Ability to work within a demanding environment, being a key contributor to a fast-moving product development process.

  • Ability to work reactively and proactively.

  • Ability to communicate and influence with tact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to build relationships within a multi-national, high-growth environment.

  • Demonstrable numerical, analytical and verbal skills, in particular well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English.

We’re happy if you have:

  • Formal Business Analysis qualification

  • Formal Anti Money Laundering qualification.

  • Experience of payments and/or money transfer business domain

  • Experience working within a multi-national team and serving customers from multiple countries Degree level, or equivalent.
