Working to build and protect our Global valuable brand, Vodafone’s Group External Affairs function manages government affairs & international policy, corporate security, public policy, external communications, corporate responsibility & sustainability and the Vodafone Foundation. Joining as our Law Enforcement Support Manager now has never been a better time to be part of our function.

You will work alongside legal and regulatory colleagues to define clear guidance and messaging in relation to country based law enforcement obligations. You will develop an oversight and assurance framework for handling legal demands from Police and Law Enforcement Agencies, including responding to requests and ensuring Vodafone Business maintain the correct policies, process and oversight regime for handling lawful requests from Police and Law Enforcement agencies.

With us you will:
  • Support the “Security and Privacy by design” process for new products and services, ensuring Law Enforcement requirements are understood
  • Act as the main point of contact for Law Enforcement when receiving demands placed on Vodafone Business entities or services
  • Build an operational model for managing LEA requests, in line with Vodafone Group’s policy principles
  • Work with Privacy and Regulatory colleagues to ensure Group Business entities balance license and legal obligations with policy requirements.
  • Develop a clear knowledge library of country based LEA obligations for all Enterprise legal entities and products
Apply if you have:
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships within all parts of the Enterprise business and external stakeholders
  • Experience or understanding of legal disclosure or interception obligations would be advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Ability to operate with a high level of discretion and be comfortable handling sensitive information
  • A solid level of IT/Technical competence would be advantageous
We’re happy if you:
  • Qualification at degree level – knowledge of the law useful (but not essential)
  • Be willing to undertake National Security vetting as and when required
