Location: Newbury (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

Role purpose:
To support the definition, articulation and governance of the E2E B2B Architecture across local markets and global business functions supporting our business customers globally. The global vertical business functions include Vodafone Global Enterprise, Vodafone Carrier Services, Internet of Things, Managed Mobility, Unified Comms & Connectivity and Cloud & Security Services, each with their own portfolio of products and services, and relevant business functions in Group Technology. Key responsibilities will include


This role would be supporting the Principle Enterprise Architect as part of the Enterprise Architecture team working within a programme or programmes to provide enhanced support from the Enterprise Architecture team where the target architecture less clear/more support is required. The candidate will therefore be spending their time dedicated to the most challenging transformation programmes across Vodafone Business.

The Role

Skills Required:
Capability to articulate and define complex architectures in a simple way to stakeholders underpinned by a structured analytical approach and high quality Architectural Artefacts and Deliverables.
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).  Able to gain influence at senior levels across Vodafone Local Markets, Partners and Affiliates, Suppliers putting across complex ideas in a simple way. Specific experience and demonstrable capability around the effective presentation of Architecture concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Industry experience in Telecoms preferably with experience of Enterprise customers and product portfoliors (IOT, SD-WAN, Cloud etc)
Demonstrable track record of delivering on projects that span multi-disciplinary areas, preferably in a large telecommunications and/or Digital organisation with Enterprise Architecture, Business and IT environments.
Sound overall knowledge of applications, integration, and data architecture methodologies and industry best practices
Academic Degree qualified
