Our Team:
 

To fulfil this objective IoT leadership requires a Release Train Engineer to facilitate

Agile release train (ART) processes and execution to help ensure value delivery. This role will report into the Principal IoT Delivery Manager. This role will escalate impediments and help manage risk, engage with business stakeholders to configure agile processes to the organisation’s needs, and foster cross-value stream co-ordination and collaboration to help drive continual improvement.

 
With us you will:
  • Manage and optimise the flow of value through the ART using various tools, such as the Program Kanban and other information radiators

  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)

  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process which drives the synthesis of a vision, a roadmap, and backlogs, and through alignment with Solution Train SI Planning (where appropriate)

  • Facilitate the PI planning event

  • Summarize Team PI objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency

  • Assist tracking the execution of features and stories

  • Facilitate periodic synchronisation

 
Apply if you have:
  • Providing input and expertise to planning documents where required including but not limited to ELJ, Solution Context etc.

  • Attending Planning meetings e.g. Portfolio Planning sessions as required to provide expertise

  • Accountable for the end to end delivery of all Features assigned into the release train – covering budget management, technology and business deliverables

  • Accountable for ensuring all agile ceremonies (stand-up’s, retrospectives etc..) are strictly adhered to by the Release Train Team

  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement within the release train
