Role purpose 
We have an exciting new opportunity for a New Business Development Lead to join the P&A sales team.

Able to look outside the traditional VPS partner model, the successful candidate with be responsible for helping to identify and on board a minimum of  3 -4 new partners in order to generate and secure new business revenue. Building upon their existing experience in sales and commercial negotiation, they will lead successful partner relationships, with the ability to operate and pitch at board level.

The role 
Identifying new routes to market and new strategic partnership relationships; being able to look outside the “traditional” partnering model.
Developing a GTM strategy for new strategic partners, building a compelling why VF strategy 
Responsible for the fast delivery of new revenue to VF across all of our product sets
Understand the market and identify potential new medium to large partners that are outside Vodafone’s traditional partner model.  Build a GTM strategy and business development framework to attract and retain new partners, engaging at a senior level, close and on-board.
Gain support within the business and negotiate new terms or agreements to meet these emerging opportunities and drive best value for Vodafone.  Fully understand and be able to position the commercial, financial and legal position whilst drawing on support of colleagues from relevant departments and be able to make recommendations based on their own knowledge and their expertise.
Develop commercial strategies to maximise growth with the new strategic partners.
Deliver in year revenue growth
Effectively engage and hold relationships with CEO’s and Business Principles.
Fully understand the competitive landscape and be able to make acquisition proposals within that context.

Experience
Partner experience in a telecoms environment covering convergence/solutions selling
Business Development and Negotiation Skills
CXO level experience and relationship management
P&L and commercial ability
