By joining the Corporate Functions team here at Vodafone Group you will support our people in strengthening our position as an admired company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees. The team is varied; you could be working within Human Resources, Finance, Legal, External Affairs, Audit or Supply Chain. With us you will:
  • Key preparer of Group Tax forecast and actual tax numbers and communication to the Group tax reporting senior manager, Head of Financial Reporting and other finance customers. 
  • Preparer of the information for the Group's tax and total economic contribution report and OECD Country by Country reporting data
  • Providing input and advice to the tax reporting teams in the Group's operating companies. 
  • Prepare reports for and respond to queries from tax and finance management and Group auditors as necessary
  • Key point of contact with EY for audit queries.

Apply if you have:
 
  • ACA/ACAA/CTA or equivalent
  • Experience of using Longview (desirable)
  • Strong accounting and tax technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in working within a team and is robust under challenge
  • A good balance of pragmatism and compliance seeking to enable rather than block business desires
  • Ability to develop and the process and technology supporting the collection and calculation of these numbers
