The Digital Operations & Automation team has been created to be the Centre of Excellence driving the automation and analytics transformation path for Vodafone UK.  This is a critical function to move Vodafone UK from a transaction based operation, to a highly automated insight and data-driven organisation.

The Governance & Transformation Lead is a newly created role.  You will help define and roll out a new operating model supporting business units to build the required people and competence, processes, technology, governance, data and telemetry, and supplier relationships.

Key aspects of the role:

Defining and mobilising a hub-and-spoke delivery model to utilise industry best practice for analytics and automation solutions.

Mobilising the operational capability to deploy and manage automation at scale within Vodafone UK, covering people and competence, processes, technology, governance, data and telemetry, and supplier relationships.

Identifying continuous improvement opportunities for automation development and deployment.

Supporting business functions and IT Operations to ensure automation solutions are optimally monitored, and business continuity / disaster recovery plans are in place if automation fails.

Defining the structure and governance of the Vodafone UK automation library.

What is important to us?  

Demonstrable experience of rolling out analytics and automaton solutions to large organisations, or at scale.

Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of solving business problems with analytics and automation solutions.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of working with a broad cross section of business users.

Strong commercial skills, able to evaluate and measure business value and ROI.
