As a member of the Go to Market team, you will be responsible for the launch & early days’ performance of Consumer propositions, devices or price & promotional activity aligned to the annual plan. Working closely with the Consumer Tribes as well as wider Vodafone UK and on occasions group stakeholders. You will drive the shaping and delivery of a diverse range of initiatives that will ultimately deliver Vodafone UK’s Consumer performance targets, on time and within the agreed budget.

The Go to Market Manager’s prime responsibility is to motivate and lead the cross functional business team up to Director level from areas such as technology, brand, customer operations, channels, product management, legal, finance, business intelligence and online, to successfully deliver the project with the best customer experience. Your ability to manage risks, overcome objections, plan ahead and think creatively will be critical to success. 
You must be able to operate with awareness of all in-flight initiatives across Vodafone UK (particularly in Consumer and IT) to ensure that your projects are run effectively in this wider business context and decisions are made with full understanding of knock on impacts and wider business trade-offs.

Essential
  • Development lifecycle experience - requirements gathering through design, testing and deployment
  • Business change experience
  • Leadership – ability to direct and motivate project teams, inspire confidence, command respect
  • Strong communicator – succinct and meaningful, with impact
  • Commercial understanding/acumen of business KPI’s 
  • Building strong relationships with senior management, suppliers, peers and project team
  • Experience in dealing with third parties/suppliers
  • Have in depth knowledge of driving out the best customer experience
