About the role

Join our FP&A team in a high profile business modelling role. You will influence financial and commercial direction for the Consumer Prepay and Fixed segment. As a Finance Analyst you will be working directly with finance decision support to facilitate efficient and effective modelling optimise performance of the Consumer business. 

You will be responsible for the specification and modelling of Prepay and Fixed Service Revenue focusing on In Bundles – OOB. In addition, you will manage acquisition and retention for Prepay & Fixed and Fixed Direct Costs. This will range from utilising existing data to support a rolling forecast to planning half year (5+7) and budget (9+15) outlooks with a robust and logical approach to a high degree of accuracy, supporting Commercial Finance to have a clear understanding of month end results and performance trends.

Key stakeholders will be the Senior Commercial Manager(s) for Consumer, Head of Commercial Finance and Head of FP&A.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Reporting and analysis of the monthly revenue via the Inflow, Base, Retention and Outflow  model
  • Recommending ideas and practical solutions to business and finance issues. Proactively seek out best practice
  • Develop efficient and accurate modelling tools to deliver “technical” and commercial overlay forecasts for in year and budget planning
  • Support the wider FP&A team in the delivery of robust rolling outlook and LRPs in relation to Consumer Revenue 
  • Provision of support to other forecasting team members on an ad-hoc basis to ensure delivery against all deadlines
  • As required by FP&A Senior manager & Head of FP&A provide additional insights into Consumer Revenue plans
Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • Significant experience in analysis & review of business unit forecasts
  • Part qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with commercial experience
  • Desire to understand the commercial insights
  • High attention to detail & strong analytical skills
