As Finance controls and compliance analyst, you will be charged with supporting Senior Manager Finance processes in developing, maintaining, and enhancing a culture of effective and efficient financial internal controls throughout the business. You will take lead role in performing and/or leading financial controls audits to determine the efficiency of control structure and operating processes, including providing recommendations for improvement in processes and controls. As we continue to evolve our core finance processes to become truly Digital, you will take lead role in managing change and driving strategic initiatives to simplify, standardize and automate our processes and controls. Your role will interface at all levels of management and across various functions and will provide an incredible opportunity to boost your career further in the company. 

The Successful applicant for this position will be expected to demonstrate confident communication style that establishes credibility and facilitates a clear understanding of finance risks and controls framework. It would be preferable for candidates to have come from audit background and have had change management and finance transformation experience.


Key accountabilities
  • Promote, maintain, and enhance a culture of effective and efficient financial internal control throughout the company
  • Facilitate change management resulting from strategic initiatives to simplify, standardise and automate our processes (Digital Telco Journey)
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's control framework, including Risk Assessment Reviews, Control Activities, and Monitoring actions
  • Keep abreast of updates to accounting policies and Group Policies
  • Prepare, update and enhance the value of the Company's SOX and control documentation and testing with a goal of increasing effectiveness and efficiencies within the processes and controls
  • Works with process owners and department managers to develop, implement, monitor, and run the compliance and internal control requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to managers responsible for implementing and running key controls
  • Ensure that all Balance sheet and P&L impacts via control weaknesses are investigated and resolved, to ensure that accounting clarity is improved month on month 
  • Audits on going processes to assure continued compliance
  • Assist in managing, resolving and reporting audit exceptions. Follows up on the implementation of management action plans to address any identified control gaps
Your Profile
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA part or fully qualified
  • Experience in Audit
  • Able to influence people in the wider organisation
  • Able to communicate at different levels
  • Passionate about Change and delivering against tough targets and timelines
