Field Operations Team Leader
Location - Newbury 
Days – Mon to Fri 8.30pm to 5.15pm
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operational Team Lead within a new Field Operations Team here at Vodafone.  This is a small but critical function that operates 24/7 and is responsible for the scheduling of all activity into the Field providing key services to our Enterprise Customers throughout the UK. 
The purpose of the Field Operations Team Leader is to lead and motivate a team of Field Dispatch Advisors (circa 16), manage rotas, ensuring the team is fully trained and competent on the workflow management system (Oracle Field Service Cloud OFSC) to achieve the most efficient scheduling decisions possible and by doing so driving Field engineer productivity and efficiency.
As a Field Dispatch Team Leader you will work closely with the Field Systems Specialist, becoming a subject matter expert on how to get the best out of the Work Force Management System (OFSC) and to ensure the Dispatch advisers are fully trained and competent and meeting service OLAs and KPIs. 
You will also look to review operational processes for continuous improvement and automation opportunities and focus on increasing engineer productivity and reducing waste whilst investigating complaints that arise from Field Delivery. 
What’s important to us?
You will be a central cog in the wheel of Field Delivery.  People management skills will be essential for this role, preferably from and Telecoms type operations environment.  The ability to read and understand technical design documentation and translate into work activities for engineers, encourage knowledge sharing and process improvement across the function with a key focus on working efficiently at all time.  As we are moving to a Digital organisation, we are all about automation of course!
Qualifications we look for include Prince 2, Agile and ITIL.  MS Excel is essential and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport will be fundamental to your success.
Note that candidates must be eligible to undertake vetting to obtain MoD SC for this role.  The criteria for which is that candidates must have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
